I am a freelance video editor based in New York City. Originally from Hawai'i, I migrated East to follow a passion for the arts. It was there that I began to combat disparities in tech and media through my work in Virtual Reality.
My cultural background lends me a keen eye for storytelling nuance and integrity.
I've worked with Stance, the Malala Fund, Ladies Get Paid, and am currently a VR fellow at the New Rochelle IDEA Lab where I'm creating a experiential documentary about Hula, and Hawaiian culture.
My personal work has shown at the Independent Filmmaking Project Minnesota and the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Film Festival, and I'm currently working on a documentary highlighting the need for support and recognition in queer women’s healthcare.
